narrative summary
The verses evoke the essence of a woman's journey towards liberation. She breaks free from the veil, symbolized by the "ghoonghat," that shrouded her. Initially confined by tradition, she embarks on a path that takes her far from home and strives
to avoid the watchful eyes of the elderly.

While fetching water from the well, she balances a child on her lap, a veil on her face, and carries a filled pitcher on her head. As she becomes a village leader, she grapples with the challenge of expressing her thoughts. In the city, she maintains a silent facade, both at work and home. Despite the weariness of the day, the poem reflects her determination
to unveil her face, finally laying to rest under a comforting cover.

thank you
The Ghoonghat project, born during the pandemic, was a passionate endeavor, revealing stories hidden behind veils. This journey has only just begun, I intend to pick up where
I left off, continuing this project when time and life allow.
