These projects were done as part of EDUC 5911 Artificial Intelligence for Children and Youth class at Penn GSE with Dr. Mamta Shah. The main aim was to explore AI tools (Teachable Machines, RAISE Playground and Microbit) and how they can be used in real-life applications

project 1 - teachable machines
Solo Project
Brief: Create a Teachable Machine classifier and brainstorm how it could be used in a real life application.
project 2 - raise
with Amanda and Veda
Brief: Choose one of the block-based tools (eCraft2Learn, Scratch, MachineLearningForKids.co.uk, or Cognimates) and create or remix a project that uses the ML blocks of the platform.


project 3 - micro:bit
with Anna
Brief: Build an ML-powered project using Micro:bit. You may remix tutorial or existing examples and work collaboratively. If you want to use another tool please reach out to the instructors.
